Why were there repeated hurdles during the shooting?

Shobhinav Satya told in an interview that shooting the film was not easy. The team used to reach the set every day with the hope that the shooting would be completed today, but some problem or the other would come up. On such occasions the team used to recite Hanuman Chalisa. According to him, many times, by the time the lesson was over, the problems related to shooting would be resolved and the team would start working again.

The story of the film is based on the life of which saint?

The center of ‘Hanuman Ansh’ is the life of Neem Karoli Baba and his spiritual journey. How did the director prepare to make a film on Neem Karoli Baba?

Director Vishal Chaturvedi was working on the story of Neem Karoli Baba for a long time. He started gathering information on this topic around 2009 and during 2016-17, he systematically started working towards turning it into a film. Later he travelled to many places associated with Baba including Vrindavan, Akbarpur, Neeb Karori and Lucknow and collected material by talking to people. His effort was to include in the film only those events which are mentioned in books or reliable sources.

How did the film suddenly gain momentum at the box office?

‘Hanuman Ansh’ was released in theaters on 7 August 2026. The film's earnings were limited in the first two weeks, but viewership increased rapidly in the third week. According to the latest Sacnilk update of August 29, the film had earned around Rs 18.40 crore nett in India and was still running in theaters on the 23rd day. Earlier, the film had registered a big jump in the third week itself. Whereas in the initial reports its earnings were said to be around Rs 12 crore.

Why did the discussion about the film increase among the audience?
